As a former Christian (extremely well equipped with bible knowledge I might add) who converted to Islam 2 years ago I am I must say saddened by the misrepresentation of Islam herein. I will not seek to try and defend the religion I profess scholarly or otherwise, that would clearly be futile here, however I would ask that people properly RESEARCH all the claims made here as opposed to skimming the post and accepting everything expressed as factual (which I suspect is what the author intends but then again I could be wrong)

The one thing I can say given my 10 years of deep study of Christianity, Hinduism, the Occult and the ancient religions of Babylon, Egypt and Maya, is there is an agenda and it all culminates in armageddon, but where does that leave our brothers in humanity that live in Peru, Lesotho, Fiji etc...

There is a bigger picture than all these scholarly debates on the eschatological events of the Ibrahimic faiths. The message in all of them is love your neighbour, and love The Creator of the Heavens and the Earth and all that in them is. Don't worry about the end times, worry about the poor and the sick and the widows and orphans.

Peace and blessings to all.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. Actually, Mr. Shoebat is not affiliated with this website. The article you read was a synopsis I wrote on his excellent book <em>"God's War on Terror."</em> If you would like to reach him you can try his website at: <a href="http://www.shoebat.com/" rel="nofollow">shoebat.com</a>
I see that you interact with numerous Muslims in China. You may be interested in another blog article I wrote a few months ago on the biblical prophetic future of Muslims and Arabs.
Dear Mr. Walid Shoebat,
I think your view is good and very correct. I liked reading all of your report because is shows the same knowledge I try to share with my Muslim friends. I am an American who teaches English in a university in P.R. China. My Chinese name is a disguise mainly for fun, but, here at the university there are many Islamic students from Africa, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Nepal and Pakistan. Although I am a little older than them and a teacher, some of them and I have built great hanging out level friendships. They still, however, and we have talked about it on occassions, see me and any other white person as a 'white American Christian' no matter what passport or religion they may really have.
They share that in their countries all white people are viewed in that same light regardless of their true heritage and religious background. So, to them, anyone with white skin is their enemy and black and then yellow not far behind. So, as the number of foreign Muslim students has gone from a few to many on the campus, maybe near 100 now from a hand-full a few years ago, as their numbers increased their view and attitude toward me has changed too, to less than positive. Some still say hi, but they don't invite me or go with me to events or dinners like they used to and many of the newer students refuse to be friends and even complain at others for being friendly to me or other non Muslims including the Chinese students. More so, now, than in the past, they see me as the enemy even though they know as well as I know that no matter what happens between USA, Israel, and their countries we will never see each other on a battle field. So, why not be friends I have ask them at times. They assure me we are friends and Islam is a gentle religion and all the news media that reflects the strictness and brutality of Islam is all just hype and lies created by the western news media to sell stories as well as to condition western countries to hate Muslim countries.
Sometimes, I really don't feel safe here anymore. Also, China has a large Muslim population originating from western China of course, but they are really not educated in Islam as the government won't permit it. The middle eastern Muslims will eat in the Chinese Muslim restaurants if there nothing else, but they prefer the India or Pakistan restaurants which offer middle eastern style food which is really delicious and much different than the Chinese Muslim style cooking. Personally I love both styles of cooking, but I think for me, the Chinese Muslim cooking is a little bit more to my taste. I thought you would be interested to read it. I used to manage a convenient store in the USA years ago and I knew an Egyptian who immigrated there with his wife and kids. He was a manager trainee that I had for a few weeks in my store. He was a Muslim to Christian convert and shared stories of persecution in Egypt of Egyptian Christians in daily life. some of the things he said were very interesting. Good luck Mr. Shoebat in your Christian life.

A islamic/Arab religion mixing with Democracy was predicted 2600 years ago in the Bible.

In 2 Thessalonians it says that “the man of lawlessness will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God and worshiped”.

In other words, he will declare himself God, but what god? And of what religion?

In Daniel 2 we have the prophecy of king Nebuchadnezzer’s vision called the “Great image”. This image consisted of five future kingdoms that would rule over Israel, beginning with Nebuchadnezzer’s Babylon.

The fifth and last kingdom, would be a kingdom that would rule in the last days, the Bible says that this kingdom would be one of both mire and metal or “iron mixed with clay”, the key word being mixed.

I believe it’s not a coincidence that this verb mixed occurs only three times throughout the bible and all three occurrence are found in Daniel 2: 40-43.

So by knowing the Aramaic and Hebrew meaning of this verb, we can understanding what form of governments the iron and clay depict, and we can know the identity of this last days religion.

What is the translation of this verb mixed? It is the word “Arab.”

Now here’s the kicker! We know that any religion outside of Christianity is a religion built by Lucifer in the spirit of antichrist. Right?

Now in Isaiah 14: 13-14 (a prophecy about Lucifer’s fall) it says:

‘You (Lucifer) said in your heart’ “I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God… I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”

The Hebrew word for “ascend”, as in “I will ascend to heaven… I will make myself like the Most High”. Is the word Allah.

Even though your comment does not seem related to the post above and is probably about selling a book, I will make an observation. Mr. Shoebat wrote, <em>“Whether the Rapture takes the believers before the seven years, then prepares them to come down for this battle later, or in the Middle; or we are caught up at the tail end to instantly participate in this, the timing is of no concern to Easterners; I predict that Westerners will wrestle with this issue and with each other until “The Kingdom comes.”</em> I agree with him. The Bible is not clear as to the timing of the Rapture yet Western Christians will continue to debate this issue <em>ad infinitum</em> or at least until Jesus does return.

PRETRIB RAPTURE SECRECY

             by Dave MacPherson

The word "secrecy" when applied to Christ's return can refer to two different things: time and visibility. Before 1830 the only coming Christians looked for was the "every eye shall see him" second advent to earth - secret only in point of time.
Enter Margaret Macdonald in 1830. She saw "the one taken and the other left" before "THE WICKED" [Antichrist] will "be revealed" - and added that her pretrib rapture would not be "seen by the natural eye" but only by "those who have the light of God within." Her rapture was doubly secret: at an unknown day and hour and also invisible to "outsiders."
Desperate to eliminate Margaret as the pretrib originator and the Irvingites as the first public teachers of pretrib, Darby defender Thomas Ice foolishly claims that they taught a secret POSTTRIB coming even though he knows that when Hal Lindsey teaches "one taken" etc. before the Antichrist "is revealed" Lindsey is expressing the kernel of the pretrib view - what MM and the Irvingites clearly taught before Darby did! Google "X-Raying Margaret" and "Edward Irving is Unnerving" to see why they are properly labeled "pretrib.")
As early as June 1832, Irving's journal taught that only "to those who are watching and praying...will Christ be manifested...as the morning star. To the rest of the church, and to the world, this first appearance will be...unintelligible." ("Present State of Prophetic Knowledge" etc., p. 374)
Always trailing and "borrowing" quietly from the Irvingites who in turn had "borrowed" from Margaret, Darby in 1845 finally sounded like them when he wrote that "the bright and morning Star...is the sweet and blessed sign to them that watch...And such is Christ before He appears [at the final advent to earth]. The Sun will arise on the world....The star is before the [Sun], the joy of those who watch. The unwakeful world, who sleep in the night, see it not." ("Thoughts on the Apocalypse," p. 167)
And Lindsey's "Late Great Planet Earth," p. 143, says that "the second coming is said to be visible to the whole earth (Revelation 1:7). However, in the Rapture. only the Christians see Him - it's a mystery, a secret."
My bestselling book "The Rapture Plot" (available at online stores including Armageddon Books) has 300 pages of such documentation and proves that Margaret was the first to "see" a secret, pretrib rapture, that the Irvingites soon echoed her in their journal (which Darby admitted he avidly read), and that Darby was last on all of the crucial aspects of dispensationalism.
Shockingly, all of the earliest pretrib development rested solely on unclear OT and NT types and symbols and NOT on clear Biblical statements. Margaret's rapture was inspired by Rev. 11's "two witnesses." And her "secret visibility" rested on the "types" of Stephen, Paul, and John - all of whom saw or heard what others couldn't see or hear.
For 30 years Darby's pretrib basis was the rapture of Rev. 12's "man child" - actually his plagiarism of Irving's usage of this "pretrib" symbol eight years earlier!
As I said at the start, the "second advent to earth" is secret in point of time with its unknown "day and hour," as Christ stated. Pretribs assert that if Christ returns for the church after the tribulation, we could count down the days and figure out the actual date of His return - which would contradict Christ's words.
But pretribs deliberately ignore the fact that Christ said that the tribulation days will be shortened - and He didn't reveal the length of the shortening!
Our opponents also assume that the "watch" verses prove the "any-moment imminence" of Christ's return. But do they? II Peter 3:12 says we are to be "looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God" which all premills claim is at least 1000 years ahead of us and therefore hardly "imminent"! What's the difference between "watching for" and "looking for"?
You have just learned a few of the many secrets that the Secret Rapture Gang has hidden for a long time. Evidently they have forgotten Luke 12:2's warning that "there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed"!
PS - For the ultimate in uncovered secrets, see engines like Google and type in "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty." [submitted by Amos]

To the rest of the church, and to the world, this first appearance will be…unintelligible.” (“Present State of Prophetic Knowledge” etc., p. 374)
Always trailing and “borrowing” quietly from the Irvingites who in turn had “borrowed” from Margaret, Darby in 1845 finally sounded like them when he wrote that “the bright and morning Star…is the sweet and blessed sign to them that watch…And such is Christ before He appears [at the final advent to earth]. The Sun will arise on the world….The star is before the [Sun], the joy of those who watch. The unwakeful world, who sleep in the night, see it not.” (“Thoughts on the Apocalypse,” p. 167)
And Lindsey’s “Late Great Planet Earth,” p. 143, says that “the second coming is said to be visible to the whole earth (Revelation 1:7). However, in the Rapture. only the Christians see Him – it’s a mystery, a secret.”
My bestselling book “The Rapture Plot” (available at online stores including Armageddon Books) has 300 pages of such documentation and proves that Margaret was the first to “see” a secret, pretrib rapture, that the Irvingites soon echoed her in their journal (which Darby admitted he avidly read), and that Darby was last on all of the crucial aspects of dispensationalism.
Shockingly, all of the earliest pretrib development rested solely on unclear OT and NT types and symbols and NOT on clear Biblical statements. Margaret’s rapture was inspired by Rev. 11′s “two witnesses.” And her “secret visibility” rested on the “types” of Stephen, Paul, and John – all of whom saw or heard what others couldn’t see or hear.
For 30 years Darby’s pretrib basis was the rapture of Rev. 12′s “man child” – actually his plagiarism of Irving’s usage of this “pretrib” symbol eight years earlier!
As I said at the start, the “second advent to earth” is secret in point of time with its unknown “day and hour,” as Christ stated. Pretribs assert that if Christ returns for the church after the tribulation, we could count down the days and figure out the actual date of His return – which would contradict Christ’s words.
But pretribs deliberately ignore the fact that Christ said that the tribulation days will be shortened – and He didn’t reveal the length of the shortening!
Our opponents also assume that the “watch” verses prove the “any-moment imminence” of Christ’s return. But do they? II Peter 3:12 says we are to be “looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God” which all premills claim is at least 1000 years ahead of us and therefore hardly “imminent”! What’s the difference between “watching for” and “looking for”?
You have just learned a few of the many secrets that the Secret Rapture Gang has hidden for a long time. Evidently they have forgotten Luke 12:2′s warning that “there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed”!
